Aerial Photography

Aerial Photography is a great joy and allows me to continue take to the air and combine two of my favorite
hobbies: photography and aviation. I don't fly the plane myself due to safety and quality concerns but
often take off and land the plane before and after completing my aerial photography duties. Madison Wisconsin
is a wonderful place to fly, the lakes and topography around are area make for breathtaking views. I received
my pilot's license at the University of North Dakota in 1989 and try to take to the air whenever possible.

I love how aerial images can take on unexpected geometric form. This is a photograph of
John Nolan Drive, otherwise known as "the causeway" in Madison, WI.
