Every structure has a story, and certain angles that tell that story. I try to make spaces come alive and try to convey the emotions that one feels while in them through the images I make of them. Let me loose in a building and I capture what I feel and the images convey that feeling. My father is an architect and I've always had an affinity for design and a deep respect for builders.
Every place has a million interpretations. These are mine.
Aviation has long been a passion of mine and being able to combine it with photography gives me a special joy. I'm a licensed private pilot and so quite familiar with the regulations and capabilities with respect to aerial photography. I also have a drone and am in the process of becoming one of the only drone pilots allowed to do commercial work in the United States.

Portraits that are natural and sincere, playful and genuine. I try to capture the best part of people, to put them at ease, to make the image a conversation rather than an ordeal.
Lighting food is an especially delicate task. When done right the results are delicious. Food has long been one of my favorite subjects and I enjoy working with Chefs and restaurant owners to make imagery of dishes that are sophisticated, elegant and stunning.
Every product needs loving lighting and lots of finesse, both while in front of the camera and when converted to digits. I love making things look their best, whether a flashlight or a factory.
